Storm clean-up and recovery continues and as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the full road closure count in the Town of Greenwich was down to 14, police said.
Utility companies continue to work to remove down lines and restore service to affected areas. Officials are asking residents to remember not to get near or touch any wire even if the power is off. It may still be energized and cause serious injury or death.
The current forecasts call for a Nor’easter to develop late Tuesday and could bring snow accumulations of up to 12 inches, heavy winds, and coastal flooding.
Traveling on Wednesday is expected to be hazardous due to the heavy wet and blowing snow conditions.
